User Management

User accounts, roles, and access are managed from the Platform Admin panel: not from the portal itself.

Accessing User Management

Navigate to Chainara Platform → Admin → Users (or Admin → Invitations for pending invites).

User Roles

RoleDescription
AdminFull access: manage users, configure rules, manage blacklist and webhooks
AnalystCan investigate wallets, verify fraud reports, submit reports, and manage threat data
ViewerRead-only access to all threat intelligence data

Inviting a New User

  1. Go to Platform → Admin → Invitations
  2. Click Invite User
  3. Enter the user's email address
  4. Select their role
  5. Click Send Invite

The user receives an email with an activation link. Once they activate their account, they can log into the portal and access the Platform.

Changing a User's Role

  1. Go to Platform → Admin → Users
  2. Find the user in the list
  3. Click Change Role
  4. Select the new role
  5. Click Save

Deactivating a User

  1. Find the user in Admin → Users
  2. Click the Deactivate button

Deactivated users cannot log in but their history and submitted reports are preserved. Admins can reactivate a user at any time.

SSO Provisioning

If your organization uses Okta or Google Workspace, users authenticate via SSO. Account provisioning and deprovisioning can be automated via SCIM. Contact the Chainara team to configure SCIM for your organization.
